Things to Look Forward To

There are always films to look forward to, and sometimes there are some that worry us for fear they will not do what was hoped. One such film that has had much talk surrounding it is The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. After the passing of Heath Ledger there were questions as to if this film would be completed, but now that it has, with the help of friends to the late actor, I wonder how they will be able to pull off a coheisive feel as they have several extremely talented, yet very different actors, playing the same character. I'm an admirer of Terry Gilliam and always marvel at his work, I'm just curious and a little hesitant as to how he will explain the changes.



Tim Burton is another director with a creative and unusual take on storytelling, and translating it into beautiful images for film. Alice in Wonderland is a film full of brilliantly talent actors playing classic characters that we have grownup with for so long, and yet I cannot wait to see them take on the big screen this coming March 2010.



Toy Story 3 is another film who's trailer recently made its appearance online. Although the time gap is a little questionable between films, it will be interesting to see what happens to Woody and Buzz once Andy heads off to college and his toys take on another wild adventure. And what about the new character that Pixar has been teasing us with since UP. All I can say is that if you are interested in a good laugh and a flashback to when toys excited us, check out the trailer. Now all we have to do is wait until June 18, 2010.
